Teeth Whitening

Discoloured teeth are the bane of smokers, red wine buffs, tea and coffee drinkers and even some people who have had antibiotics as a child. Don’t despair a safe and effective remedy is only a smile away. Your dentist will determine whether your teeth are suitable for whitening. Whitening can be achieved quickly using Zoom whitening system or at home over a six week period using night trays.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are ideal for creating beautiful smiles in cases of small, oddly shaped, spaced or discoloured teeth. With this procedure you will be involved directly in your own design process in reshaping, widening and brightening your smile, thus ensuring total satisfaction. Your dentist can place temporary bonding for 2-3 weeks to protect your teeth and create the blueprint for your smile.

Porcelain Crowns

For many years, traditional crowns have been used to strengthen teeth that are heavily filled, weakened, or darkened due to root canal therapy. Thanks to new technology, porcelain crowns look and feel like your own teeth. This is because the distinctive dark metal line or “Blue Halo” of old-style crowns have been eliminated. Porcelain crowns are now metalfree and so natural looking that they could be mistaken for real teeth. You don’t have to have the “Blue Halo” look with your new crowns. Cerec 3D CAD/CAM

In one visit it is possible in our practice using the latest CAD/Cam technology to place white fillings and crowns on your teeth – no need for impressions and multiple visits or temporary fillings. You can have all your crowns and fillings carried out at one appointment, normally in a couple of hours.

Recommended for large white fillings as it will structurally support the remaining tooth walls and will not stain, wear down or shrink. These problems are commonly associated with white fillings and sometimes patients experience tooth sensitivity.
