We wish to inform all our patients that Causeway Dental will be closed on Monday 7th May for the Spring Bank Holiday. In the case of a dental emergency all NHS patients should phone Dalriada Urgent care on 028 256 63510 and Membership/Private patients should contact 07709961404.

We will reopen again on Tuesday 8th May @ 8.30 a.m.

Kids fun afternoon

We are going to be hosting another kids fun afternoon, on Monday 2nd April from 2.00 pm. Registered children on Nuala Devlin and Robin Alexanders’ lists will be booked in for their check up, but there will be lots to entertain them and make this an enjoyable experience. Don’t be disappointed book your appointment today.

Patient survery results

Thank you to all patients who very kindly responded to our patient survery in February. The survery has now been analysed and the findings are very encouraging.

100% of the patient sample felt that their dentist was approachable and comments included: -

“always friendly & interested in your point of view, will listen to and answer questions”

100% of the patient sample felt that treatment plan and options were explained clearly, what was being done and why. Comments include:-

“always explains in detail the treatment and why it is the best option”

“I always get a full explanation”

98% of the patient sample were happy with the quality of care they received at the practice, and feel that we have met their expectations. Comments include:-

“I am a very nervous patient and the staff have been wonderful with me”

“highly trained, competent, courteous staff. Efficient and very pleasant”

“more than met my expectations, results are brilliant. Thanks to all the team”

In summary there are many things that we are currently doing to meet our patients expectations. I think that everyone is to be congratulated on the role that each team member plays in achieving this very high standard.

There is always room for improvement and this includes informing patients of choices available. Being attentive to our patients on their arrival and giving them an experience that will exceed their expectations.

Just an update on what is going on at Causeway Dental in 2012. Once again our focus this year is delivering quality dental care by a motivated dental team in a relaxing environment. Our Membership patients can avail of our coffee lounge or freshen up prior to their appointments especially if rushing from work! We offer a range of teeth straightening treatments as well as a full range of cosmetic dentistry. We have introduced a finance plan, offering from 0% interest, therefore making more complex treatments more affordable.

Kids Fun Afternoon

We will be hosting our first kids fun afternoon on Monday 19th December from 2.00 p.m. Any child due a check up for the month of December should contact the surgery to book your slot. Santas little helpers will be on hand to assist with the activities as well as give advice on healthy eating alternatives. We look forward to seeing you then.

Ben Nevis Challenge for Orla

Orla McGinnis, one of our Dentists here at Causeway will not be relaxing next weekend, instead she has decided to climb Ben Nevis to raise funds for the Northern Ireland Cancer Foundation. Orla has put in many hours of training, hopefully the weather will be kind for everyone taking part. Good Luck from the team.

If you are a Private/Membership Plan/Denplan patient registered with the practice and require emergency dental treatment then telephone 07709961404 or alternatively if you are an NHS patient registered with Causeway Dental, and require emergency dental treatment then telephone Dalriada Urgent Care on 028 256 63510. We reopen again on Tuesday 30th August @ 8.30 a.m.
