We offer two ground floor surgeries with a further three upstairs and have toilet facilities on both levels allowing for anyone with accessibility concerns.
Waiting areas are designed to create a relaxing atmosphere and we even have a coffee lounge where you can pick your favourite magazine and unwind prior to your appointment.
And though we do our best to make your experience pleasant, we are always happy to hear your comments and suggestions that may help others!
Delays and Missed Appointments
Please keep in mind that despite our best intentions, sometimes emergencies happen and we may need to delay or change your appointment time to help someone who needs urgent care. In these cases, we appreciate your patience and we’ll do our best to see you quickly.
In return, we ask that you give us 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment to avoid a missed appointment charge.

Payment is normally due on the day of your treatment and we accept cash, and most debit/credit cards. We also offer a Membership Plan to help spread the cost.

Originally from Glasgow, David graduated from Dundee Dental School in 1997. He worked in Gullane, East Lothian prior to working several years in one of Edinburgh’s premier private dental practices.
In 2004, David and his Ballymoney born wife, moved to Northern Ireland. David has completed specialist courses in advanced cosmetic and implant dentistry in addition to teaching dental students at Queens University, Belfast.
David provides a full range of general and cosmetic dentistry to private patients with the addition of sedation for more complex cases.
His greatest satisfaction comes from seeing patients achieve the smile they’ve always dreamed of.
When not busy at work David enjoys various outdoor sports and spending time with his wife and children
Lorna graduated from Dundee Dental School in 1998.
She first worked in General Practice in Fife, Scotland before progressing to The Edinburgh Dental Institute in 2002 where she gained Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
In 2004, Lorna and her Scottish husband (David), moved to Northern Ireland where she quickly became a familiar face at Causeway Dental. Having gained a Diploma in Clinical Education at the School of Dentistry in Belfast as a Clinical Teaching Fellow, Lorna also plays a lead role in the teaching of all Queens University dental students.
Lorna continues to work in her clinical teaching role and we are delighted that she also leads our Facial Rejuvenation Clinic here at Causeway. Her wealth of clinical experience means her patients are in the best of hands!
When she’s not busy at work, Lorna enjoys cooking, gardening, Pilates and looking after David and their children.
Eimear qualified in 2012 with a B.D.S. from the University of Dundee. After University she worked in Scotland and Australia before moving back home. Eimear specialises in working with anxious patients and children. She has recently completed coursework qualifying her to provide inhalation and conscious sedation for bigger treatment plans and for very anxious or dental phobic patients.
Eimear enjoys all aspects of general dentistry especially Restorative, Prosthetics and giving patients the smile they always wanted with a minimally invasive approach. Recently she completed the lnvisalign Go course allowing her to offer orthodontic treatment to adults who want to improve their smile.
Outside of work Eimear enjoys traveling, playing sport and spending time with friends and family.
Victoria graduated in Dentistry from Glasgow University in 2005. Continuing her
studies she was one of four post-graduate students to gain a place on the
competitive Northern Ireland General Professional Dental Training Scheme. There
she gained experience in general practice as well as in oral surgery and special
needs dentistry. Following this she then took further exams to become a member of
the Royal College of Surgeons and Faculty of Dental Surgery in Edinburgh.
Victoria has also previously worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillo-
Facial Surgery including facial reconstructive surgery alongside orthodontics. She
has also undertaken advanced training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry in
Birmingham, further postgraduate training in sedation and a post graduate course
in implantology.
Her main areas of expertise are in the rapidly advancing field of cosmetic restorative
dentistry and oral surgery including implants, smile design and treatment under
sedation for anxious patients.
Outside of work Victoria lives in the north coast and loves spending her free days
here with her 3 children and husband. She also enjoys running and trains with
Springwell Running club. She is a keen swimmer, especially open water swimming
in the north coast! In the quieter hours she is fond of reading, she also loves
gardening especially with her kids and chickens (is a fan of Monte Don!) and is a
food lover; cooking is one of her many passions!
James qualified from Queens University Belfast in 2013. He achieved his postgraduate MFDS qualification in 2017. After university, James spent a year in Derry and a further seven years in Limavady. During his time in Limavady, he was an Educational Supervisor - responsible for teaching and looking after newly qualified dentists.
James enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, particularly Restorative and Oral Surgery. He also enjoys helping anxious patients with inhalation sedation.
Outside of work, James is an active member of his local football club and is a busy father of two. He enjoys spending time with his wife and young children as well as reading and travelling.
Catherine graduated from the University of Glasgow in2010 and achieved
her postgraduate MJDF qualification in 2012. Having completed her
training year inn Newtownabbey she returned to Scotland to work in the
Public Dental Service with special care patients and the prison service
including the State Hospital at Carstairs.
Following this she worked in general dental practice including 4 years
as a trainer for newly qualified dentists, and as a Clinical Teaching
fellow in Restorative dentistry in Glasgow Dental Hospital teaching
undergraduate students.
Catherine enjoys all aspects of dentistry but especially providing
treatment for anxious patients and children and can also provide facial
aesthetics treatments. Catherine's warm personality and easy going
nature makes her a hit with all our patients.
Originally from Fermanagh she is delighted to have returned to Northern
Ireland with her husband and two young children.
Ed is our in-house Clinical Dental Technician who specialises in the manufacture and fitting of dentures, and he knows from first hand experience that one of the hardest tasks in dentistry is to make dentures that fit comfortably, work well and restore the patient’s smile.
Rather than sending impressions to an outside technician, Ed creates all dentures himself for a better fit. He completes at least 150 hours of Continued Professional Development every five years to make sure he stays up to date so he can continue to provide the best possible service.
Ed works closely with dentists and can also provide partial dentures.
When he is not busy helping people with their teeth he enjoys helping raise his 3 children and is involved in local Rugby, Scouts and Pony clubs.
Claire qualified as a Hygienist from Queens University Belfast in 2012.
She previously qualified as a Dental Nurse at Kings College Hospital,
London in 1998. Claire worked within private practice in London before
moving to Scotland where she worked within the community setting in
Dunbartonshire. She returned home to study Dental Hygiene and has spent
the last eight years working within General Dental Practice.
Claire works closely with the Dentists tailoring preventative treatments
and has a special interest in treating Dental phobic patients.
Siobhan joined Causeway Dental way back in 1999 filling a position as a receptionist, she then went on to study in Belfast and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2005. As her career advanced and she took up the position of practice manager, Siobhan undertook some extensive study over a number of years and achieved a Level 5 and Level 7 Diploma in Management. She then gained Chartered Member status of the Chartered Management Institute.
Striving to deliver the best possible experience and service for every patient has been a driving force in Siobhan’s career. She is supported by a fantastic team that make up Causeway Dental.
Siobhan is married to Derek and they have three grown up daughters and two grandsons. In her spare time Siobhan likes to unwind reading or listening to music and she enjoys time spent tending to her garden or sitting in it with friends for coffee and catch-ups.
Lindsey started working for Causeway Dental back in 2007. She enjoys her work especially getting to know all our patients.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends out socialising and going for walks (as long as there’s a coffee shop involved).
Lindsey loves travelling and exploring new places, especially road trips across America.
In total Leanne has over 15 years’ experience working as a Dental Nurse/Receptionist. Leanne joined the Causeway Dental team in 2015 working part time as a receptionist and nursing in surgery if the need arises.
Leanne really enjoys working at Causeway Dental as she loves the team and the wide range of treatments and services available to our patients.
Leanne is married and has two young children who keep her busy on her days off. In her spare time Leanne enjoys going for walks in her local forest and meeting up with friends.
Denise's dental nursing career started in Coleraine where she worked in a dental practice for 11 years prior to joining Causeway Dental in April 2013.
Denise works alongside our dentist Eimear and together they make up a
great team. Denise enjoys all aspects of dentistry but especially
putting
patients at ease prior to having treatment and watching their anxiety
levels become lower with each visit, due to the relaxed and friendly
atmosphere
within the practice.
Outside of work Denise is kept busy looking after her two sons, spending
time with family and friends and cooking meals with the produce she
picks from
her own garden, one of her favorite pastimes.
April joined Causeway Dental in June 2019 as a Trainee Dental Nurse. She is currently studying a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing, which includes working four days in practice and one day study.
April looks forward to qualifying as a Dental Nurse and continuing her position here at Causeway Dental. Her favourite part of dental nursing is working with a great team and experiencing a wide range of different treatments.
When not at work April enjoys family time, dining out and going for walks.
I joined the practice back in August 2020, and have 15 years of dental nursing experience. I have qualified in radiography and recently successfully completed my IV Sedation qualification. I currently work alongside the principal dentist David and I am enjoying every aspect of Implant and Oral surgery here at Causeway. I love meeting new patients and taking them through their treatment journey.
In my spare time I love trying out new coffee shops and restaurants. I really enjoy walking and hiking both on the North Coast and further afield in our beautiful countryside.
I joined Causeway Dental back in January 2022 and qualified in my Level 3 Diploma in Dental
nursing in June 2023. I really enjoy my time in causeway dental being able to see all the different
treatments it has to offer.
I have recently just completed my IV sedation qualification in March 2025, I thoroughly enjoy this
aspect of dentistry as it allows patients to become more relaxed and feel at ease when they
come for treatment.
I work closely alongside my dentist Catherine and also our in house Clinical dental technician Ed,
together we all make a great team and have fun whilst doing so!
Outside of work I love going to the gym, spending time with my family and socialising with
friends. I have also recently just bought a house with my partner meaning most evenings are
spent looking for new decor ideas for our home.
I joined Causeway Dental back in January 2024 as a qualified and dedicated dental nurse. I
bring both skill and compassion to my role and always go the extra mile to ensure my
patients feel comfortable and cared for in our practice.
My love for working with people is at the heart of everything I do, whether I am assisting in
a procedure or simply offering reassurance to a nervous patient.
I work alongside a Victoria one of our dentists and with our hygienists - I enjoy all aspects of
my work and continue to learn/develop my skills daily.
Outside of work I am passionate about living a full and balanced life. I am a regular at the
gym always pushing to stay strong and healthy. I also cherish quality time with my friends
and family, and my dog is never far from my side, adding that extra bit of joy to each day.
