ON CALL GUIDE
Our in-house on call service is for use by our membership, denplan and private patients only.

The service is for advice and, if necessary, the dentist will arrange to see you at the practice. Normal hours are until 8 p.m. midweek and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends.

Call-outs during these times are at the dentist's discretion.

Dental emergencies are defined as severe swelling, bleeding and severe pain. Other dental accidents may be seen at the dentist's discretion.

If the dentist is unable to take the call immediately, he or she will call you back as soon as possible.

DENTAL FIRST AID TIPS
Here are a few things you can do whilst you are waiting for your dental appointment:

Clean your mouth thoroughly and rinse with warm salt water to resolve gum problems.

Do not place aspirin on your gums or tooth to relieve pain.

A cold water rinse may temporarily reduce the pain from a throbbing tooth.

If your face is swollen, apply a cold compress and contact the dentist immediately.

Dental first aid kits from chemists and supermarkets are great for refixing loose crowns and bridges.
