In recent years there has been a revolution in orthodontics.
Now, instead of being faced with traditional metal fixed “braces” as your only choice, patients can choose the Invisalign aligner system to straighten their teeth.
Invisalign are cutting edge braces featuring removable, nearly invisible, aligners that fit snugly over your teeth to gently and precisely control their movement and rotation. They can correct overcrowded, widely spaced or gapped teeth, crossbites, overbites, underbites and open bites.
The Straight Story
At the beginning of your treatment, we will create a clear aligner that is custom made for you. Then, approximately every two weeks thereafter you will be given a new set of aligners that will continue to move your teeth, slowly and precisely, into their desired position.
Best of all, Invisalign is not only incredibly effective and more discreet than traditional metal braces they work faster, too! Once your dentist has assessed your teeth they will be able to give you a clear idea of how long you may need to wear your aligners.
A Invisalign - Made to move
This innovative system allows people to transform their smile with discretion. Removable and nearly invisible aligners that are custom made for the individual to move your teeth little by little until the end goal has been reached.

Book your consultation with one of our dentists to find out if Invisalign is the best option to straighten your smile. We will take you through the Case Assessment, which is a simple set of photos to determine whether you are suitable for Invisalign treatment.
If treatment is right for you, we’ll take photos, X-rays and digital scans, or a dental impression, of your teeth. Then we’ll create you a digital treatment plan, using our state of the art technology, showing you what your results could look like via a 3D video.
We’ll give you a series of aligners to wear every day and change at home – on average every 1-2 weeks (as directed by your Dentist). You can comfortably wear your aligners for 22 hours a day (the recommended daily wear). And because they’re removable, it’s easy to maintain your normal oral hygiene routine and enjoy your usual diet.
We’ll invite you back to the practice around every 4-6 weeks to monitor progress and hand over your new aligners. At the end of your treatment, you will need to wear your retainers to maintain your new smile.
We would love to help you through your Invisalign journey.

WILL THE INVISALIGN TREATMENT HURT?
Because the aligners physically move the teeth, some patients feel a slight ache for a couple of days after they begin treatment, or when they change to a new aligner. However, the discomfort generally goes away quickly on its own and can be managed with an over the counter pain reliever.
IS IT IMPORTANT TO HAVE STRAIGHT TEETH?
Yes. When you have straight teeth it is easier to prevent many health issues such as gum disease, which can lead to tooth decay and loss, issues with speaking or chewing and other jaw problems, and excessive and unusual wear on your teeth.
In short, straight teeth not only look fantastic but they are a vital part of a healthy lifestyle.
Once Invisalign treatment is complete is a retainer necessary?
Wearing a retainer after any orthodontic treatment is an important step, because it keeps teeth stable in their new positions. If you want your teeth to remain in their ideal position, it’s best to wear a retainer as directed by an Invisalign Provider. In many cases your last aligner will be your temporary retainer, until your retention option is determined. Your Invisalign Provider can advise you on longer term retention options.
The retainer also helps your teeth from grinding while you sleep.
What are aligners made of and what do they look like?
The aligners are custom-made for you and fit snugly over your teeth. They are invisible aligners and are made of strong medical grade thermoplastic material, uniquely developed for the Invisalign® System.
WHY 22HRS A DAY?
Keeping the Invisalign aligners in your mouth for 20-22 hours a day is the most critical rule to follow, however, it is the practice that makes the biggest difference in the success of your orthodontic treatment.
Your Invisalign treatment plan is laid out by your dentist at the start of your treatment.
WILL THE ALIGNERS AFFECT MY SPEECH OR WHAT I CAN EAT?
As with many dental treatments you may have moments where your speech is slightly affected. In the case of the Invisalign your mouth will quickly get used to having the aligners in your mouth and you will soon be speaking normally again.
You will need to wear your aligners roughly 22 hours per day and when they are in place you will not be able to eat or drink anything other than water. You should only take them out when you are eating at your regular meal times.
However, when you are not wearing your aligners you can eat normally.
How much does Invisalign cost?
As with other types of orthodontic treatment, the cost of Invisalign treatment depends on the complexity of your teeth straightening issue and your course of treatment.
Helps when participating in Sports
You can also wear Invisalign aligners when participating in sporting activities.
But did you know it can give your teeth more protection?
Using Invisalign as a protection for the teeth when doing sports such as football, boxing biking or football gives that added layer of security.
